A shy and spectacular species, observing it in the wild is a true adventure, especially in the forested landscapes and meadows of the Valdeón Valley. The best times to spot them are at dawn and dusk, always near their natural shelter and hunting grounds.

Why is this experience special?

The best season to see wildcats coincides with the haymaking season in July, when wildcats take advantage of the freshly cut meadows to hunt for voles coming to the surface. These days offer unique opportunities for observation and photography in open fields, accompanied by experienced guides.

Activity details:
Duration: Approximately 4 hours per session, with the possibility of two sessions in the same day (morning and afternoon).

Difficulty: Low physical demand; most of the route is done by 4×4 vehicle, although short walks may be made depending on the group’s interest.

Minimum age: 5 years. If you have any ailment, injury, or illness, please communicate it to adapt the activity.
