The supermarket of Camping El Cares, located in Santa Marina, in the Valdeón Valley, Picos de Europa, opens its doors for another year!
It is one of the few supermarkets in the Valdeon Valley, located in the reception building of the campsite, this store has food items of all kinds.
You can find everything you need for a good breakfast and even a wine to accompany the most delicious dinners, as well as canned food, pasta, vegetables, soups and kitchen basics.
Have you come to the Valdeón Valley and want to barbecue? We have a frozen food section where you will find everything you need for your you need. Even a portable barbecue!
Are you more of a vegetable person? We have a refrigerator with fresh vegetables and fruits, and drinks and yogurts to go with them!
In addition to all this, we have our own handicraft workshop, where we produce handmade articles and accessories. We also have high quality artisan products of the area, from the famous blue cheese of Valdeón to sausages and orujos from the Cantabrian area of Picos de Europa.
Try Sierra del Oso’s delicious artisanal honeys and jams!
For the more adventurous, we also offer small wildlife guides, multifunctional whistles, emergency blankets and an infinite number of small toys for the little ones.
If you have come camping and have forgotten something, we also have basic camping items such as gas bottles, plates and cutlery, ice axes, hot water bottles and even inner tubes for your bicycle.
In addition to all this, we have a catalog of comfortable and cheerful clothing for both adults and children. Quilts, hats for hot days, backpacks to save your life.
We also have mountain footwear and clothing that can get you out of trouble. Have you forgotten your sleeping bag? Also you can rent it!
